Dominion Acquires 51% of Samdale
Samdale has taken a leap forward in its expansion plans with investment from Dominion S.A. of Spain and acquisition of 51% of the business.
Dominion is one of the largest engineering & telecoms groups in Spain with more than 1,500 professionals and global operations with a turnover of 500M Euro. The acquisition of Samdale by Dominion came after several successful projects for Dominion including Coverage Surveys & Network Optimisation for the TETRA network deployed for the Public Safety users in Andorra.
The acquisition of Samdale will allow Dominion to improve its strategic positioning in the TETRA market and will provide Samdale with the investment and backing required to consolidate its position as a world-leader in real-time monitoring and analysis services, tools and products worldwide.
Dominion offers complete solutions and the development of turn-key projects in the areas of Telecommunications, Security and Control Systems. Dominion's Digital Radio division will work closely with Samdale and has a growing team focused on TETRA, WIMAX and DVB-T technologies.
